My Jeep is usually in safari mode and during this cool-ish time of the year, I often keep the A/C off, but rotate the temp dial into the blue range and turn the fan on:

Jeep Wrangler JL Weird A/C Anomaly...Cools in Park Even When Off AC

This allows ambient outside air to blow through the vents. However, I recently noticed that when I set the transmission to park, the A/C blows MUCH cooler air (maybe 20 degrees cooler), as if the compressor is actually on. When I shift into any other gear, the system blows ambient air again. All this happens without me changing any of the A/C settings and with the A/C indicator light off, as shown above. While I welcome the cooler air, this is a very weird anomaly and makes me wonder if there may be a bigger problem that needs to be addressed. Just curious if others have experienced this or have even noticed it. I've had my Jeep for 5 years, and only noticed this today! I appreciate any constructive feedback or experience with this issue. Many thanks.
