We test the OEM diff covers vs the Motobilt diff covers.


Loved the video Kevin. I'd say the results were predictable although I was surprised that the slug dented that Motobilt cover. Still useable though. Not much can resist the .223 short of some much more expensive steel that would be total overkill in a Jeep application. The 9mm result is probably the best visual for the strength of these covers. Well done, and fun to watch.

Ya I think the results were exactly how we predicted. You definitely want some give to the metal. Better it bends over breaking or messing something else up. I think it was a perfect middle ground.
