You want to change your oil early, every 2500 miles with Supertech.

I dont know Mohd, I'm guessing this would probably be just fine BUT, for me there is a slight feeling of rolling the dice so to speak.

I would strongly recommend just sticking with the known big brands (penzoil, mobil, valvoline). It isn't worth the couple bucks saved for walmart oil.

Walmart also very likely demands some cost cutting measures to hit a target price. It’s not like Kirkland Signature that has to actually be *better* than the leading brand to stay on the shelf.

If I read the report correctly, the report notes that the oil is virgin oil and unused, thus has not been in an engine. It'll be interesting to see a report after 5,000 miles of driving and see how this particular oil breaksdown over time and exposed to the harsh elements of a working internal combustion engine.

You get what you pay for so when I pay more money for name brand oil products like Mobil 1 or Chevron, I am getting a better oil product.

I use Mobile 1, but I do wonder if your statement is always true. The mass purchasing power of Walmart, Costco, and Sam’s Club does often result in lower prices for quality products.

I imagine the additive package is what separates one oil from another. I’m a base leave if an oil meets whatever “standard” it’s basic the same no matter the price, right? So it comes down to additives? These are questions not statements of fact

My concern about a store brand is they purchase from different sources. So there is likely a different product in the bottle from time to time. Also might be obtained from more than one source at a time. You just don’t really know what you’re getting.
