I am installing the vos800. I have the control unit mounted. The 8 gauge power cable run to the red terminal on the battery. The thin gauge red control wire run into the Jeep and connected to the ignition wire jeep provides with the aux package. The heave gauge ground coming from the control box is grounded to the frame (the instructions say go directly to the battery but Voswitch told me I could go to frame as I am mounting on passenger side. The thin black ground is attached to the same frame mounted stud. The system is active and getting power whether the jeep is running or not. Reading the manual I moved the dip switch to enable switched power. Now the unit doesn’t come on. Any advice as to what the issue is would be appreciated.

Thanks

Ahhhh, I run mine not ignition switched, but on the passenger side. I have the ign hooked up though. I may flip the dip and see what happens.

Orange and pink strip…confirmed by a second person…..considering whether I should cut it and try reconnecting although I can’t imagine I have a bad connection.

Ok, decided to go back out and check in the simplest way possible, pressed the aux switches one by one and sure enough aux 3 activated the voswitch. Pulled the neg lead and cut wire reconnected to the also pink and orange wire……wtf jeep……and I am good to go. Thanks very much.

I used an add a circuit for an ign circuit in the underhood fuse panel. Totally forgot the aux switch package had an ign lead with the relay hookups! Lmfao!

Glad to hear its sorted.
