Does anyone know why there is velcro on my front seat belts?

That is to keep the buckle from rubbing on the nearby plastic and damaging the plastic..

IF it peels off.... starts to peel off, just use replace it with a large piece of furry side, black Velcro....

Some Velcro related trivia:

In my JLU, I wanted to ensure a Sto-R-Top rack in front of my Squadbox would not slide at all; Some Velcro hook-and-look wrapped around a couple of places on the Sto-R-Top base works great.
