looking forward to following the build. I really like those wheels.
Same here, I am now looking at all of the OMF beadlock rings that work with Method wheels. I’m thinking a black wheel, with Orange ring to go with my soon to be Punk'n JLU Rubicon.

I too would like to know the wheel specs and where you purchased them from?

What are the specs on those Method wheels and what length (mm) are the lug nuts? Thank you
The Method wheels are the 105 beadlocks in flat black. 17x9 5x5 lug with 3.5” backspacing. The lug nuts are 2” long.

Before, during and after the hood decal transformation process. Very happy with the way it turned out. The factory rubicon decal was way too “strong” for my taste. The vector decals in black blend nicely.

The amber side markers definitely have to go. They didn’t bother me as much when the OEM Rubicon decals were on, now it’s hurting just looking at them.

Well, you just helped answer the question I have been pondering for over a week, which is what wheels should I get for my black Rubi. I really like those matte black Methods and think they would blend well since my roof and fender flares are non painted. I am considering getting the rings painted red which would make the red accents pop. Your rig looks amazing and thanks for the pictures. Oh, may I ask where you purchased the black lug nuts from?

Thanks for the wheel info. Can you possibly post a picture front on and maybe down the sides to show how far past the wheels and tires stick out, also a rear shot too. I would much appreciate it, if you could. I plan to run 37x12.50x17 and have been looking for wheels and keep going back to these. They look great, but cant find ones that fit the JL.

I too am not sold on the red Rubicon decals , but I have yet to take delivery on my granite, sill waiting for it to ship. I know even in person the red is going to be too much for my liking and I plan to do the same and go with black Rubicon stickers if I decide to even run them at all.

'atta boys and girls, proper and courageous personalization via removal of superfluous and
can you confirm that non-painted rubi fenders cannot be split, IE the apparent section line is simply a visual-only feature, unlike painted fenders which can have bottom section containing both lights removed? (for eg. see Currie's JL on grappler 40s and the 2017 EJS Jeep prototype with clear plastic doors that appears to have been a JL from front bumper to B pillar including windsheild)

Vector is starting a build on this 2018 JL Rubicon in Granite Crystal. Jeep has made so many great improvements on this platform, we can't wait to see what it can do. We are already hard at work on some great new products to take your JL to the next level. This build will focus on maintaining excellent road manners. Part of that will effort will require keeping the vehicle as light as possible. Thanks for tuning in on this build and we hope you enjoy it!

If anyone can come up with a great name for this build, we will send them some free swag!

Lapidaris (of stone)
Lapidarius, Lapicide (stone-cutter)

I'm stuck on stone related latin words for some reason. Kind of partial to Lapicide.

@Vector Offroad, A few suggestions for the build name. Something that can go anywhere but is very lightweight, and is a dark color. I'm thinking Ghost, but if that's too common. How about these:

Vector Offroad Wraith (my personal favorite)
Vector Offroad Shadow
Vector Offroad Phantom
Vector Offroad Specter
