Hey everyone, I’m looking to get one of the vector off road e dock systems.
I’m looking for people who have had either the tube or contour system and pro/cons and why they choose it.

I like the tube look better but afraid the bar will interfere with the front defrost vents.
The contour seems to have more mounting options but kinda looks out of place directly on the dash imo.

Thanks for you opinions.

@Javwohl If you decide to go with the e dock check this thread out that shows how to trim the little vent pieces to give it a finished look

Thanks will do, I plan to get one just haven’t decided which is better the tube or the contour one.

Watch a few install videos I seen they just left the vent pieces off and I don’t like an unfinished look like that.

The tube style does it interfere with your defrost vents at all? I’m pretty sure I’ll have to have mine taken in to have them check it out since it seems only middle of the windshield gets cleared.

I live in Florida so I've never used the defrost. The tube bar is NOT positioned over the defrost vents. It's positioned to sit just back of the vents. The pictures in the link I posted may show you

Thanks in most pictures it does look like it does sit just behind the vent but wasn’t for sure if it interfered or not.

If considering the Vector, also look at the Anvil Overland system. Anvil Overland

I recently bought the Anvil system and have started adding device holders. I've bought a few Fanaue device holders Amazon.com: FANAUE Tablet Holder for Car with Ball Head, Lightweight Design,360 Rotatable iPad Holder- for Your Windshield, Dashboard, or Desk,Compatible with All 8"-12.9" Tablets (iPad, Samsung Tab) : Electronics and I'm still trying them for the practicality.
Thanks I will look into this system too.
