I always feel like my engine sounds weird, but I can't find out where!

Sounds normal to me other than in the second video there was something other than the injectors. A deeper more clunky sound.

My wife asked me why it sounded like a tractor with the hood open.?

Check your pulleys, some of that could be from an idler or tensioner pulley (some of the ticking), but I can't tell from your video. A mechanic trick is to take an appropriate size piece of pvc pipe to your ear, then move it to various places (careful with moving parts) to isolate the sound. I had noise on my tj I thought was the engine but it was a ticking pulley. Yours may be totally different. Your first video sounds how my 3.6 sounds. Not sure on the second, but I gotta say there are a lot of interesting noises coming from these engines.

I'll check it out, the videos are all 3.6. A ticking like sound existed before, but since I changed to 91 gas I haven't heard it lately

Hopefully you just got a batch of cheap gas. Or your state is putting water in it to save the earth

I always get my gas at Costco because it's just so close, less than 2 minutes away. But it's true that people say Costco's gas isn't very good

Costco gas is actual top tier. I have never had an issue with their gas that is surprising if that is the case. I've even read articles comparing Costco gas to Sam's Club saying how Costco is top tier but not Sam's Club. Well hopefully you don't have issues in the future with that.

Well some people say chervon and shell would be better. But it's more expensive!

Don't understand why Chrysler wouldn't give one away with just such a bare, uncapped engine. And we have to pay extra for it.
That's cutting corners for sure. I have one on my 2019. Maybe it was to complete with the bronco's spaghetti engine.
