Yes the shifter is very stiff the first few times you use it.

It helps to be moving slowly. It helps to be in Neutral also.

After you shift it a few times it gets easier.

It looks like Jane has a 6speed manual transmission Willys so there's no putting it in "Park". With the MT, does it need to be in neutral to move from 2H to 4H or can it be in gear moving slowly?
The manual says to be moving.

Olá, e bem-vindo ao fórum! Enquanto dirige a 35 milhas por hora, pratique a mudança de 2H para 4H. Seja firme com a alavanca; boa sorte!
Aw muito obrigado! Vou usar meus músculos :muscle:

Correct is 6 a speeds stick shift and there’s no park just the hand break if that’s what you meant.

Ah nice I used to offer Jui-Jitsu back in the day on my gym in Brasil however I never actually try it .
I’ve been in BJJ for 20 years or so, total of 42 years in martial arts, mostly Japanese systems. The cultural differences between the Japanese and the Brazilians I trained with is fascinating, especially when it comes to egos. They both have them, just expressed quite differently.

First of all go easy on my English isn’t my first language so my grammar sucks
I born and raise in Brasil always drove stick HOWEVER I never drove a car that has 2 sticks so I got my first 2024 Willys my American dream ❤ and we had a snow in NY and I was stuck on my boss driveway without know how to activate the second stick (the4x4) I did google and supposedly is hard to move the stick. I am a retired IFBB pro Bodybuider so I still have strenght on me and the thing wouldn’t move at all I didn’t want to break !!!!! How har is it? Can I just pull the sh#%t out of it without break it?
Thank you :)
I had to look it up when I first got mine too ?. Thought I was going to break it. I’m a girl and I really had to tug on it the first few times but once I got the feel for it, it became easier.

Always shift when you have the transmission in Neutral, not in park but neutral.. 4 Low is not often used unless you are off-roading, no asphalt time for Low transfer case.

YES the First Time, just like your first time kina hard to get it in gear, but as you travel down the path of life it gets easier as you go.
