Hey y’all, was driving my rig back from the store and when it was building boost in 2nd gear it lit up like a Christmas tree and went into limp home mode. I pulled in to an empty lot and tried to shut it off and turn it on again but that didn’t fix it so I used the error code viewing feature and wrote down all the codes. My brief search on the forum was inconclusive so I decided to not tow it and just clear the codes for the moment with the tazer. What should I do?

Forgot to add that it drove home fine after clearing the codes but I know this is by no means a long term fix.

and while its out do a firmware update of the tazer then re install
to me it just sounds like a glitch

not much help with the problem sorry but this is what those codes are for/causes

Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor harness is open or shorted
Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor circuit poor electrical connection
Faulty Throttle Position (TP) Sensor
Restricted air inlet

U1428

Faulty Transmission Control Module
Transmission Control Module harness is open or shorted
Transmission Control Module circuit poor electrical connection Faulty Powertrain Control Module

Thanks for the advice- I’ll try that asap. I just remembered that I was manually shifting with the auto and that stopped working for a second if that adds to it.

really sounds like a glitch - it cant be your battery /batteries already your rig is a bit to new , but who knows , mopar batteries are the worst ever
check that also bench test it/ them
sorry not much help to your issue those would be my first 2 things i would look at

Throwing all those codes at one time means you can’t look at each one and try to diag each code. The odds of multiple systems and modules, failing at the exact same time or pretty much zero instead, you need to look for what can cause your jeep to throw a bunch of nonsense codes at the same time this is always usually something electrical possibly your battery a bad connection, or a loose ground or bad ground somewhere however, in the future, I would highly recommend not clearing the codes unless you can rule out nothing is wrong with the code that you’re clearing. Also, your jeep went into limp mode to protect itself by you clearing the codes and telling the jeep all is good. You could do some serious damage by forcing it to operate in normal parameters when something is wrong , but just to give you somewhere to start it’s gotta be something electrical. And going off of all the codes that itdid throw you will notice a common theme to them all is open circuit or shorted ground. You could try pulling up a wiring diagram to see at what point do all those systems come together as in I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if they all share the same ground or the same fuse, so that is where I would start figure out what do those systems have in common and where do they come together then you will find your issue. I am going with a bad ground or shorted wire coming from a fuse that they all share.

I don't know what it is, and I'm not saying it is your batteries, but ...

I have replaced both batteries twice on my 2020 JLUR prompted by inexplicable electrical weirdness (like dash lights, ESS switch, gauges, A/C operation, etc.).

However I feel it is better to replace the batteries early and often, rather than get stranded out in the desert in 100+ temps.

For your 2021, based on my experience, I would not be surprised if your batteries are close to end of life. But my engine is a 3.6 and yours is a 2.0T, so that is a big difference.

Having the dealer look at it is maybe a good option...

FWIW. Good luck solving your problem.

Without understanding what these codes even mean, the only advice that can be given is misdirection. Several of these faults relate to engine torque request failures, the primary fault is the low air flow. Has your air filter collapsed?
