I have searched through the forums and have not found anyone explaining how to swap out the knee speakers. Do I have to remove the whole dash?

I did the passenger side without removing dash. Had to remove the glove box, the screws below the glove box, and the screws on the side of the dash. this allowed me to pull the speaker box out once i unscrewed it. The driver's side....I ended up removing most of the dash. It was pretty easy and I used a youtube video to assist me.

Did it the other day. Wasn't too bad.

Now I don't think you need to rip that much out... but yeah, it's all screws and pull tabs. Just be careful and slow. It'll all come out, no problem.

I put in an aftermarket android radio as well. Has a bundle of wires that I had to tidy up.

Wow... Looks great. If I ever do that (probably never will) I'd probably try to add the aux switches as well.

I also want to replace the lower 4" speakers on my 2020 JT Gladiator but am hoping not to have to pull off all of the upper dash components in order to get the lower areas uncovered for the lower speakers.

How much/ which parts of the upper dash stuff has to come off in order to remove the coverings on the kick areas to be able to remove and reinstall the lower kick/ knee panel areas to remove and reinstall the "pods" for the lower 4" speakers?

Thanks!

What I was tempted to do was cut this speaker grill part out LOL. Then somehow glue it LOL. I really don’t want to remove all that dash crap.
