I just replaced my two front tweeter speakers on the dash and it’s amazing. I was deciding between the kicker and JBL due to it being plug and play without any modifications. I’m glad I went with JBL the sound quality is awesome! I placed the order through Crutchfield and they sent all the wiring so I don’t have to do anything but plug and play.

For the install you would need one flat head screw driver or a trim removal tool and one small phillips screwdriver or a angle phillips.

Nice. I replaced all mine with the MBQuart Jeep vehicle kit speakers - Vehicle Kits | MB Quart .
Pretty much anything is better than stock imo....
My driver side tweeter always made this popping noise which annoyed the crap out of me so instead of going back and forth from the dealership I took the chance and upgraded them. I’m thinking about upgrading the roll cage speakers to kicker but that one requires modifications....

The sound bar speakers were a BEATING, especially if you change to 6x9s. If you just replace each speaker separately, then that should be very easy.

The knee speakers was kinda pain as you have to remove half your dash...

Yea I saw the one near the knee is annoying. Which ones would you recommend for the on on the roll bar?

I went with all MBQuart speakers. I do know that Alpine sells a 6x9 replacement, but 2x more expensive than the MBQuart ones.

Have not installed the amps yet...sometime in the future for that.

I ordered these exact speakers from Crutchfield so I got the adapters. I installed them yesterday. Had a hard time getting them to fit. I had to trim the mounting tabs a little. The speakers seem to be too deep and are pushing on the plastic vent hoses. I am getting some vibration at certain levels that almost sound like a blown cone. Did you run into any issues with your install?

Nope, you have play with the angle when you’re putting it in. No vibration or trimming needed here.

Same here--short of trimming the mounting tabs, there was no interference below the speaker. I used the Infinity Reference speakers.
