Upgrade halogens?

Looking to upgrade the halogens headlights to LED.
Are the replacement bulbs any good or will I just wish that I hadn't wasted the money and just gone to LED headlights?
What are the best options out there for LED headlights now? Looking for quality long lasting bright lights. Don't care about color shift and other functions.

I had these Auxbeam LED bulbs installed on my Sport...

The low beam is decent, but the high beam lacked definition... it is useless as a high beam..


I later bought these Rough Country LED headlights.. usually go for $550 but the scratch and dent on ebay go for $159.. here:

mine were brand new.. I did not see any defects to warrant to lower price..

They work really well.. specially for the money.. LOL.. and they are adjustable..

I had replacement LED bulbs for less than a month. Went to the headlights listed below. If you have the money, go for a full swap.

What are the best options out there for LED headlights now?

Oracle Oculus Bi-Leds.

Replacement bulbs are good for what they are, but they are limited by the reflectors in the same way as the halogens are. Low beams are great, high beams are meh (but still way better than stock). For someone like me that wanted to keep the reflectors for the look though, it was a great option. No regrets.

I too have the rough country led lights that I bought from the scratch and dent ebay store. Love them and have not seen or found any issues.

I also recently installed them (scratch and dent) great deal and fully functional headligts.. including Halo Daytime Running Lights (DRL) and amber Halo for turn signals.. really cool idea.

I changed to LED bulbs on both JLs and no regrets. Bought them on Amazon for about $45 a pair.

Replaced mine with Sylvania H-13 halagen bulbs and very happy with them. Huge upgrade from stock bulbs.

This is one of my least favorite things about our new rubicon, it did not have the led lighting package. I have dealt with Headlight Revolution in the past and have had great success with them. I will be ordering the SV-4 replacements for ours soon as I had these in a previous vehicle. These have a very distinct cut off line, even in the halogen housings. Got these AUXITO H13 LED bulbs, plug 'n play installation in my 2018 Jeep Wrangler JLU, no errors on the dash, visible cut-off line means you won't blind oncoming traffic! Works great in the stock/OE headlight housing. In the photos posted you can see a comparison of LED and halogen output on the garage door both showing the color variation, output, and cut-off.

I have the oracle led bulbs and have been happy with them. They definitely improve the lighting. I can’t compare them to the factory LED package, but I can say they are more than sufficient for the road.

I honestly think the LED bulbs are the most practical option. Factory LEDS are really expensive, and I’d be paranoid someone will rip open my grill to steal them. A bulb upgrade essentially keeps everything stock (we would eventually have to replace bulbs once they burn out anyways). Going with a full aftermarket headlight would mean you would have to rebuy a pair if an issue were to come up, such as a rock getting kicked up and busting the lens.
