Saw a Golby colored Gladiator at the auto show. I herd the Gladiators are made on a second assembly line seperate from the JL line. Are the Gladiators painted in different paint booths also? Wishful thinking on my part for Golby to be reintroduced for the JLs. It would be nice to see a tan like Golby or green like Tank on the JL.

There is 2 plants in toledo... The north and south side all put together in 1 complex... So there is a body, paint, and assembly area for each model... They are separate so there is a jl assembly and a jt assembly 2 different lines 2 different buildings same goes for paint and body

Love the new truck but I don’t know what all the excitement is about on the diesel It just cost FCA 800 million in settlements for the 3.0 eco diesel in the ram 1500 and the grand Cherokee I’d get a little more excited if they had a small cummins diesel instead of the fiat one FIAT (Fix It Again Tony)

Can’t wait. It’ll either be that hybrid or a used one fresh off lease. All depends how they do the hybrid.

According to an internal document you are correct about July. I'd assume ordering will start May/June.

I'm very interested in color choices. I'm hoping for some new options. Preferably Tan, Tank like green, or a brown.

Golby might be a possibility because they are offering it on the Gladiator. Tank would be nice too.

I'd buy either of those colors gladly. I like to mix it up. I switch back and forth from bright to ordinary colors on wranglers

Hyper Green
White
Orange

All time favorite was the Hyper Green.

A bit of clarification, please... in reference to the term "hybrid" and re-tooling in May, does this concern the "mild hybrid" 2019 JL 3.6L Pentastar with eTorque/BSG or does it refer to the rumored 2020 JL PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle)?

The ecodiesel is a VM Motori engine, not a fiat engine. It's also used in the European Maserati, and banks power uses it for a military vehicle they sell to NATO or the UN.
From my understanding fiat has a partial ownership of VM Motori. But the A630 which is what I believe the ecodiesel is based on is not a Fiat motor.

That being said, I'm akrealr saving money for the day my 2.0 blows up, planning on replacing with the Cummins 2.8(?) Crate engine ( or at least day dreaming of it)
