I get lots of compliments on my Bikini, usually about the colour and often just on the general way it’s built. We haven’t had the 4xE long enough to notice yet.

I'll tell you without shame, I shed some serious tears when I found out bikini was being discontinued before I could order my jeep.

I ordered Earl, hoping it turns out half as pretty as bikini. If not, and it's a horrible colour, I figure I can always just get a bikini wrap! ??

That Bikini may well be the best shade of blue Jeep has ever done. Even better than Hydro...
So true! Hydro is a bit too dark for my taste...

I searched for a Bikini to see it in person and really liked it on the 2dr, then found it on a 4dr and it didn’t work nearly as well for me, got Hydro (also liked snazzy)

I’m sort of happy it was such a short run colour, it’s so rare to see another in the wild.

Earl is hard to tell from the rendering , it looks a lot like Anvil to me. It will be interesting to see it in the metal though.

The first bikini I saw in person was a 4 door with colour matched top and fenders, it was too much. Mine was still a few weeks away so I was pretty nervous for my factory order, when she turned up I was happy that the smaller size and black twill was enough to make the difference - I’ve been asked to sell her to a few people and there’s no way I’m parting with her.

I get it- I went Hydro over Snazzy because IMO it needed black fenders and top ( grill too ) NA on a 392

I get a lot of people asking me about the diesel. Probably due in.pat to the stickers I put on the hood. Otherwise it looks like a lot of other Jeeps out there.

I got more compliments on my old J10.

Yep— unless they are off road types a Jeep is a Jeep, clueless about trims, drive train, etc. As evidenced by the times I have been asked “is it 4 wheel drive?” always after a compliment so you bite your tongue and just say yes. When we got the GC SRT my wife was nervous about the attention she was getting from “some people”. I told her “don’t worry, those are just car people “.We are the minority who love to drive, the majority just want transportation and are clueless.

Sort of, kinda retired....mostly
No one has ever given me a complement for my Jeep. I've had to buy all of the ones on it. However, I get compliments from people about it all the time. Probably partially due to all of the complements I have added to it.

(it's the internet, what did you expect? ;))

It's happened a few times but sometimes I'm more surprised than others, like tonight.

I was sitting in a Taco John drive thru line which was quite long when, after about ten minutes, the gentleman in the Buick SUV in front of me opened his door and looked like he was going to step out. I figured maybe he needed to stretch his legs since we'd been waiting in line for a while.

But, instead of getting out, he yelled back at me "Your Jeep is beautiful" I said Thanks as he closed his door and continued waiting for his food. Because my window was open as was my Sky One Touch Top, it was easy to hear his comment.

This guy was in his seventies at least so I can't imagine he makes it a habit to compliment strangers vehicles which make the whole experience a little more special.

I'm guessing others have heard all types of approval of their transportation choice but to me, it's always nice to hear.
I agree. I compliment myself and have received and have given compliments to others. lol. I can't say that about FCA.

I had a very nice lady compliment on my Jeep just yesterday at the gas station. She even went so far as to ask for a ride in it, because she was thinking of getting one. I thanked her and pointed to my lovely wife (who was just coming out of the store) and said, "Ask her!".

I got more unsolicited compliments back in 2019 wnen JLs were still fairly new, but I still get the ocassional compliment.

Now on my 2001 F250 7.3 Power Stroke 4x4, I get them more now than in the past. I get people asking if I want to sell it a lot too. Its a mostly unmolested survivor where most are either beat up and rusted out or turned into Bro-dozers.
