There was a recent thread here with posters calling people "morons" for buying a Jeep they don't intend to wheel. Imagine their reaction to not only buying a Jeep, but then spending ten of thousands of dollars on half-building a rig they don't intend to seriously wheel.
I don't identify as a moron, but there have been a few instances when I've covered their shift. ;)

----------------

While I don't "wheel" my Sport, that's not to say that I've not availed myself of its competence in other, less than ideal conditions. I'd wager that at least a few of the guys in front of me on the trails would be well behind me in conditions like this. The owner community isn't monolithic.

I get that kind of weather during the winter, so I know how much it sucks to drive in, but looking out over the snow covered landscape like that is a thing of beauty. I know that isn't what you were going for, but I find it to be a very nice image.
Pull 'er into 4-hi and leave 'em in the powder...

On another note... Would you mind terribly if I commandeered this... "I don't identify as a moron, but there have been a few instances when I've covered their shift."

Thanks!

Oh, I agree completely about the natural beauty of a winter landscape.

Here's another one, taken on the same trip. Being able to capture the active snowfall was a bonus.

Please do, Mike. 👍 Just attribute it to me where/when able. :)

Yeah, that's the stuff! Another great image, better than the first since we can see more of your Jeep in it! Thanks for the resolution, too. Helps my oldish eyes... Me and my handy DSLR usually have people in the frame. I need to spend more time on shots like this.

As for the quote I wish to borrow, no problem with giving credit where it's due. Thanks for the green light.

Thanks!

Mike
