Yep, he spent a shitload on high-end rock crawling gear, but only those components that looked cool to the casual observer. I almost feel bad for people that live in states like Florida and Texas that have so few places to go off road.I saw that the other day. The silver Jeep is on 43" tires with the stock Dana 30 axle. "Sliders" that wobble if you gently shake them. An empty Power Tank in the back because the owner will never need to air down. Yet he has expensive coil overs. All for show.

We have plenty of off road places in Florida but very few rocks or elevation. We have lots of sandy beaches and places to get stuck in the mud during the rainy seasons.Yep, he spent a shitload on high-end rock crawling gear, but only those components that looked cool to the casual observer. Good point. Lots of off road places, but very, very few rocks. I remember one of my brothers taking a box of rocks on his flight back home to the Tampa Bay area. He had to try to explain that they don't have rocks in Florida. We have plenty of off road places in Florida but very few rocks or elevation.
We do have an over abundance of rocks, but they are all under ground and they are limestone. They don’t make for stable rock crawling. We do have some amazing limestone quarries, that if you aren’t afraid of trespassing, provide ample opportunities to off-road in a Wrangler.Good point.
