Uconnect Commands

For starters, I really like the layout and the UI (User Interface) on the UConnect4 system. I had SYNC3 in my Ford Edge, and really disliked the layout and the interface to change between sources manually.

So far, I find that SYNC was way more forgiving on voice commands. It understood you as long as you hit on key words. And Switching things, playing songs, artists etc was very easy.

I really struggle with UConnect. I've gotten better but I still have an issue and have not found the right voice command.

When I tell it to play an artist, it works fine, but for the life of me I cannot get it to change back to play all, or turn on shuffle through voice commands. On my SYNC, I was able to simply say "PLAY ALL", and it worked.

On UConnect, I have tried "PLAY ALL", PLAY ALL SONGS", "PLAY SONG..ALL SONGS". The only way I have found to get it off an artists is with "PLAY GENRE ..ROCK", but that will leave out some songs on my USB stick. And I still haven't figured out how to get it to Shuffle with voice command.

Anybody know how to do these things, or where there is a good list of acceptable commands?

Looks like page 11 is what you are looking for. However your observations seem to be correct. You can do what you are saying, but no way to go back to all. Wonder if you could switch to another input and then back to start fresh. Kind of a pain, but it may work. Maybe the help command on page 10 could yield some more results.

I was searching for uconnect help and found this. Is there a more comprehensive guide to the whole system? What do the different apps do, how to connect a phone, where are the control buttons, etc.
