Uconnect app working in 2018 JLU?

Quick question: I just purchased a 2018 Rubicon JLU and was curious if the Uconnect App available in the Apple App store worked with anyone else's Jeep? I'd love to be able to use the remote start and other functions available. I know older model vehicles could install a 4G adapter into the OBDII connector which allowed this "remote" control of our vehicles via the app.
