No, it's way too early for xmas themed posts but it IS the night (day) before a big roadtrip and I for one, am excited as all hell. We're headed to Ouray to spend next week running trails and grabbing Badges. Here's the current score...

BFF is on a flight here (Austin) where we're leaving from tomorrow morning early.
Jeep is fully loaded except for our clothes (luggage).
Route is planned out.
List of trails/badges we're attempting is all sorted.
Gaia GPS is fully loaded with the entire area where we'll be.
Spotify has an unholy number of songs/albums downloaded to my phone.
Work out of office is set.

I just can't wait! LET'S GO!!!!!

Thanks for the pic, Black Bear is one of the trails we're running and I'm VERY focused on this one. Those 1,000 foot drops are... attention getting.

EDIT: Jamboree registration is already closed. Well, we'll be in the area anyways!

Yep... it is one of the JJ's that sell out near instantaneously along with Moab. You will have plenty of Jeepers in town now and after the event. So just plan accordingly. If you are not going with any other Jeepers you can find some one FB that want to run Black Bear since the JJ does not run that trail any longer. Not sure of your itinerary, but most of the major trails in the area will have JJ on them on Friday and Saturday. So you may try to plan Black Bear one of those days.

Just got home from a 2.5 week trip down south. Got to explore and do some wheeling around the eastern half of Tennessee and western South Carolina. I also attended my first Jeep Invasion in Pidgeon Forge, which was epic!

And yes, it's extremely addictive! Was my 1st time getting to do some real offroading, and I was already getting the withdrawal shakes just an hour after leaving Windrock. ?
