That is exactly what I am asking. It looked pretty neat with doing that.I could be mistaken, but I think the OP was asking about the factory LED equipped JL's that have the White DRL strip, but when you activate the Turn Signal, it shuts off that sides White DRL and flashes with only the Amber Turn Signal.
If I understood the ask correctly, it would be that when turning on the Turn Signal, it would effectively perform like the switchbacks do, alternating between the White DRL and Amber Turn Signal.
Is this something that can be coded, using something like a Tazer Mini or has anyone done this already?
-Thanks
Outside of having the LED package I don’t think it will work. I have the rubi fenders in my sport and had to program them with JScan. You have to configure it to optional DRL with the dropout enabled. This allows the amber to cancel out the white light while your lights are off. If you have the lights on at night or whenever the amber will flash but the white also stays on. In essence you have your left and right white dedicated as your DRL.That is exactly what I am asking. It looked pretty neat with doing that.
Oh ok now I see. Not sure how that would work. If I get some time I can play around with JScan and see if I can get it to work like that. Maybe the white isn’t dedicated would be my thought. Pretty interesting to be honest.I have the LED package already. I know with the LED package the DRL cuts off when the blinker is on, except at night. But this particular Jeep's blinkers alternated between the white DRL and the Amber turn signal. It was during the day.
