I installed it a few weeks ago. No instructions sheet but I was able to figure it out and it works great

Question for ya. I looks like it doesnā€™t have those 2 extra brackets that the Tuffy one has. Does it still seal up good enough?

I just installed this Royalo console then saw this thread, mine was $56 from Amazon Warehouse but came in new condition. I am not 100% on this product as I didn't realize it doesn't actually bolt to the console. If you press down on the lid the legs tend to bow in which isn't exactly confidence inspiring. I am going to take it out and put some flat bar between the legs to add more strength.

Mock up before install (bolts not tightened):

Legs bowing in instead of on the console wall:

Pro Tip: If you have a pivoting wrench, put some tape on the back side to help install the bolts from the underside. My hands wouldn't fit

It's braced in there. It's not going anywhere..
I wouldn't call it braced in. Those legs push the lid assembly up so it stays in place against the console inner lip, so if the legs bend in towards the middle it collapses the lid assembly down into the console.

Right. Itā€™s braced in there.

I don't think the Tuffy is any easier to install. I uttered a few explitives when I put mine in. However, it is rock solid and well made. Plus, it is keyed alike with my tailgate lockbox, as all Tuffy products can be. They are indeed expensive, though.
