Installed the Mopar cargo liner for cloth seats (82215656AB) last night. Install was easy, directions were relatively straight forward. However, now that the liner is installed, whenever the gap cover moves up or down, the liner comes unattached from it (see video). Has anyone else had this issue? If so, is there a fix? Or did I get a lemon? Or is this just a poorly designed mat by Chrystler?

I have a JLU Sahara w/ cloth seats and I often work as a photographer out of the back of my Jeep. I am anxiously awaiting a solution to protect the cargo area. I guess I don’t understand why the Husky model built for models with a subwoofer (which I have) and leather seats (which I don’t) would not work on mine. I get that it has something to do with the channel gap cover on leather models but will it absolutely not fit on my Jeep?

The “with leather” husky liner looks to be shaped to accommodate the trench cover that comes with the oem leather in the JLU from the factory. If you look at the mat that Husky has for the cloth, no amp JLU, it has what appears to be ridges molded in to cover the hinges right behind the seats.

Without the trench cover, the “with leather and amp” liner will probably fit loose/possibly not touch the floor in the front.

Gotcha! thanks. So frustrating all these stupid little nuances. Why didn't they just include the trench cover for everyone?! Guess I have to keep waiting for a cargo mat.

If I have cloth seats and subwoofer then the flat load one from Weather tech won't work correct?

I see what you are asking. It seems a bit confusing to me also. When you go to the weatherteck website, it will ask you some questions that will refine your purchase. https://www.weathertech.com/jeep/2018/wrangler-unlimited/cargo-liner/

What exactly is the "flat load floor"? If selected with a subwoofer, it gets you this, when selected without it gets you that. Jeep really screwed this up...mixing the cargo area up with cloth vs leather vs gap hider vs without gap hider. I'm confused...and I'm sure the aftermarket is as confused as I am.

I am still waiting on the Trail Rail Management System and how it integrates with an aftermarket cargo mat. I do not like the Mopar solution where the mats go up the back of the seats. Don't get me wrong everyone, if you have a dog and such, I could understand buying this, or the canvasback system, however in the interim, I will keep using my 36 inch X 39 Inch $15 carpet runner from Lowes. It's holding up well.

Harbor freight 5x7 tarp, hf moving blanket, and a few clothes pins. Good temporary solution for less than $10.

Has anyone come across a cargo liner that will work in a JLUR with cloth seats and sub? I can’t believe we’re still waiting for this.

The canvasback liner will fit that model. They have drop down menus you can select what setup you have. It attaches with velcro to the back carpeting. It is a bit pricey but I really like mine and makes putting dogs and gear in the back really easy
