Got it. Thanks for the response. Can you tell the rake has been removed or is it hard to tell?
Yes. Rake looks to be gone.

Here is the measurement between the tire and fender flare opening.

Hard to tell but the measurement are almost exactly the same. The front may sit 1/4 of inch lower.

Thanks for checking that. I would like to install something similar on my Rubicon so I'm in the research phase. Thanks again!

Here’s a pic today at the gas station. A little more flat ground.

Looks perfectly level. Very nice.

I keep seeing Rubis where the front looks higher than the rear - like a reverse rake. Can’t figure that out... You have it nailed, looks great.

I’m now considering swapping my 35s for 37s for whenever my darn Rubi comes in. I still want the minimum lift possible - thinking of trying to get by with a 2/1.5 or 1.5/1 like you’ve got going on.

Thanks!

I think a 2/1.5 would be perfect for 37s

I stuck with a 1.5/1 and 35s so I didn’t have to change anything else. No LCAs, shocks, track bar, etc. needed.

First of all, looks good. This is the route I plan on going as well (I also plan on doing the same thing to my stock wheels , except in gloss black) so I am glad to see it worked out well. Did you utilize a spacer on your wheels?

Second, someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the factory rake is 1" so your 1.5/1 should have reduced you to a .5" rake. This is the same setup I employed in my F-150 and I think it is ideal... perfectly level and you would probably squat a little if you towed anything, but the .5", at least on the F-150, was visually a big difference from the 1" and made it appear level. I am also basing this off the measurements pics you posted one looks just shy of 8.25" and the other just shy of 8.75".. is that right?

Thank you!

I did not use a spacer for the wheels. I don’t rub either.

Here are pictures from the ground to the fender flare. I still have roughly 1/4 of an inch rake. The previous measurement from the tire to the flare is tough due to picking up different parts of the tread on the tire when measuring. If I had to guess, the 1 inch of rake is probably right and the highline flares play tricks on your mind. I can tell you this, it looks a lot more level than sports with just a 3/4 in front spacer. I’m going to swing by the dealership today to see if I can get a pic next to a stock JLUR. Hope this helps.

As for the guy on pricing of this kit, Traxda won my business by making a 1.5/1 on request and giving a 25% discount code. Great company imho. Nothing against RC.

Also, I lowered my tire pressure on these E rated tires from 38 to 30. So I’m sure I lost height from the pre lift measurements. So try not to compare too much.

Just sent the Traxda team a note asking if they’d put together a prototype 2”/1.5” kit for me. I’d like to try it with 37s on a JLUR.

Of course, 2.5” kits are the most common options for 37s - but I’d like to go a hair lower.

Hoping they can use the 2” front spacers from their existing 2”/1” kit and the 1.5” front spacers from their existing 1.5”/1” kit to create a 2”/1.5” kit.

I believe fronts and rears are interchangeable... no?

They are different. First one is front. Second, rear.

Just heard back from Traxda, they’re willing to work with me on the 2/1.5.

Of course, now I’m really wondering if I might prefer to go with the 1.5/1 - I don’t like much gap in the fender well.

Maybe I should just wait until the Jeep arrives, get my 37s on it to see how they look and take measurements, then knock out the lift...

The 1.5/1 and 37s will give you the same look as a stock Ruby with 35s. Just more level. No? I am the opposite of you. I like a less stuffed look lol.
