Have you spoken directly to your dealership about them setting up a rental for you? Some dealerships will do it if they have great customer service and if you have a good relationship with them.
Yes i have, regional manager still hasn’t approved for a rental...

I’m also having issues with my 2022 JLUR XR 3.6L e-torque Transmission. I just got word today that they need to replace the TCM and Valve Body. The part won’t be in u til at least 12/15/22. I dropped off my jeep on 11/3 and still have no rental car. It’s 11/14. @JeepCares , i have already sent you a PM.
Still waiting on your valve? Is 12/15 still your date? Mine is still 12/15 as of right now. Still no approved rental for me either. I’ve been without a vehicle since 11/4.

My dealer did not get the body from Stellantis. As you know the lead times are very long. Apparently individual dealers are hoading valve bodies. My dealer called around until she found one at a dealer who would sell the body. Took two weeks to locate and have it sent to Florida. It came from California. Unfortunately that did not solve my problem. They now think that the problem is the high pressure fuel pump on recall for ecodiesels. Especially since the PCM was fried and the low oil pressure light came on, in addition to every warning light on the dash. I do not understand why but this is a symptom of fuel pump beginning to fail. Of course the pumps are in short supply and they do not know when they will get one. So my car sits at the dealer. I do have a loaner but only after I said I was starting a lemon law claim for a new vehicle.

I am so sorry to hear that your troubles continue. I also had every light on the dash come on when this whole thing happened with mine, as well as it throwing 92 codes. From what I’ve read online, and the mechanics remarks, I don’t have much faith that the valve body is going to solve my issues. Keep us updated on how things go with yours. I’m sending you all the good vibes I can that this will be resolved quickly for you.

Hey so i got hold of Jeep Wave through the new website and they created a case fairly quickly. They got in contact with the dealership I went to. They got corporate parts team involved and expedited my Valve Body & TCM replacement. It arrived last Thursday, and the dealership had my jeep ready by Friday late afternoon. In terms of getting the rental, they gave me a rental on the 15th. I had to call jeep cares i believe and ask to speak with the regional manager for San Diego?, however they were out of town, so all the phone calls and e-mails went to an inbox that wasn’t checked. So once i got hold of someone, i handed the phone to my service manager at the dealership and they got some sort of deal worked out to approve me to have a rental for 3 weeks. This is what took so long to give me a rental.

i hope you get your parts soon!!

I have a case now too and they are waiting on the dealership to get them the parts list so they can expedite. I hope I get them as speedy as you did. Jeep Cares also finally set me up with a rental today too.

Now they do not think it is the high pressure fuel pump. They identified that the transmission wiring harness had an intermittent short that caused the bucking. They are replacing that harness. I am a bit skeptical. Supposed to pick it up today. Will let you know.

I certainly hope this is the correct diagnosis and you will be off and running good as new again. Keep us updated on how it goes!

Picked up my Jeep and took it home before I left town. Problems appear to be solved but I reserve judgment. I think there may be a recall coming for where this harness was routed. Hope yours her resolved.
