That is for the stock wheels (which I like better, too). I don’t have any choice. It has to be ordered that way. Maybe it is a snafu in the ordering system? Basically, they have raised th price of a regular Rubicon by 1K.
Hmm. I have no clue what is going on. Maybe wait a little bit since ordering just opened and contact a few other places on ordering? Btw the 2.0 is awesome!

To answer your original question: the tow pkg & HD electrical is worth it for the HD electrical part alone.

To your other dilemmas: the LED lighting package is definitely worth it as the stock halogens haven't changed since the '70s - they're awful.

Re: having to order x,y, &z, it may be more beneficial to find a more knowledgeable dealer from which to order.
I am with you on the tow package. I think I am going to keep it.

the dealer was not the problem as far as not knowing about the requirement of the LED package. That is on Jeep and their “build” feature on the Jeep web page. The trail camera was stand alone when selected.

I guess the thing that ticks me off is there isnt A no cost wheel option.

That's why the trail cam wasn't an option! I ordered the stock lights and yeah I was told an extra $1000 was added because the stock rims weren't available. I ordered my 22 JL Rubicon 2 door in March 22 and received a 23 end of October 22. Neat
My ? I can't find an answer to is: I got the towing and electrical package. Everything I can find says it's a class 2 receiver, 3500# standard/2500# for Jeep. But a class 2 has the same receiver as class 1. Mine is a 2" receiver. That's class 3 isn't it? What's my tow rating?

your tow rating is 2500lbs for the 2 door. And yes your receiver may be a higher class but wheelsbase is likely the limiting factor for tow limits on a 2 door. 4 doors have a 3500lb tow rating. This is all as it regards to the US.

Honestly, the trail cam and LED headlights are pretty easy to add later, and usually for much cheaper than factory install. I *believe* with 2021+, they provide the same wires for halogen vs LED, so switching them out later is even easier.

If I had to choose, I'd skip the trail cam + LED and keep the tow package, then budget in to add them back in once it's delivered.

Weight distribution kits cannot be used with a Class II trailer hitch. This is the distinction that applies to the Wrangler's design, relative to how the receiver hitch is secured to the vehicle.

The aux switches are a great addition and even if you don’t tow, the hitch plug is useful.
Installing a 2" receiver hitch is dead simple, vis-a-vis ever needing one for a bicycle rack.

As you've no plans to tow anything, the only decision here concerns whether or not you'll ever use the auxiliary switch panel (which is a labor-intensive installation) to control supplemental lighting and such down the line. If so, then the Tow Package is probably worth the expense.
True that the hitch receiver is super easy to install. The hitch plug (which is not at all easy to install) can also be really useful for non towing purposes. I added an hitch plug adapter to my air pump and can now air up without popping the hood and clipping on to the battery. The plug has a 30 amp fuse so could work well for other uses as well. I think the tow package is the best value option available, even if you don’t tow. You get a better alternator and marginally less crappy battery as well.
