Trailer brake controller

I'm looking to add a trailer brake controller to my 2018 jl. I have the tow package from factory already. I'm just curious where people stick the switch. Most I see online go where your power outlet is. I would like to keep my power outlet to charge my phone but having a hard time finding a different location in the cabin to install it.
