Hello,
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone on this forum that helped me over the past few years. Lots of good info, and tons of great pics/ideas!
It is bittersweet, but I just traded it in on a new truck. So if anyone is in or near RI, there is a pretty sweet 2 door for sale at Bald Hill Jeep right now that has less than 17k miles. (not sure if they will keep the bumpers, etc. or go back to stock)
I'm not leaving the Jeep world though , right now I am in the process of building a YJ trail rig/crawler.
This 2 door was super capable, and we did some really tough trails, and it never disappointed. We took it on five different jeep jamborees and did a bunch of 5-7 rated trails, and some fairly tough local trails as well and we just aired up at the end of the day and drove home. Pretty amazing really. It was a great rig, but we just have more fun in the older Jeeps. And day to day I am better off with a truck.
Anyway, thanks again, and keep on Jeeping. Hopefully soon there will be one of those weird square headlight Jeeps waving back at you haha!
