Just ask @cosine he knows!
This thread is for the lowest hanging fruit on the Jeep Club tree :) We don't have the high dollar shoes, the name brand jeans or sit in the VIP section. We're in the back of the line, we have to wait a bit longer but damn-it, we're still getting into the club!

We get to start with the following~
Small Tires
Ugly wheels (at least the silver ones, the black steelies are cool)
Small Radio
Small axles
Tall Gears
Transfer case that's almost 4Lo (not full 4:1 4Lo like the big boys)
Lights that are dim (but they will melt snow!)

But we do get to join the coolest club on the planet THE JEEP CLUB!!!
And we're essentially joining this club with a Groupon (getting 20 to 25%off) :like: :clap:

Just a basic rundown of the Sport Club Members~

Group 1~these are the purest form, the soft top, no power anything, black steelies, and if you also have the 6MT you are truly the kings of this club. Not only did you get into the club w/ a Groupon, you also used a discount code at checkout! We salute you!

Group 2~A few options, maybe bumping to a Sport S

Group 3~the Willys.

In each of the above groups you have the sub-groups~

Group A~No mods and no mods planned

Group B~minimal mods, maybe some bigger wheels and tires, mild lift

Group C~plenty of mods, but on a budget

Group D~ plenty of mods, budget be damned!

Group E~bought the Sport for the bones, going to leap over a Rubicon w/ one ton axles and everything full tilt!

So if you're in the club post up what you got, what you've done, and what you plan on doing. And if you ain't doin' shit, post that up too because you're still in THE CLUB!

I'm in Group 2C, I've done quite a bit since joining the club but try to keep everything on the lower cost side of things. Most of my mods were at a big discount from their current inflated pricing, got a few items off the site from members at a good discount as well :) I also like to DIY my installs and fabricate things so that saves quite a bit too!

Ran 7 Jeep badge trails thus far and hopefully pick up a few more in the coming year. Have the smaller open-diff M200 rear so I can't go too hard up the challenge scale although Rocky Gap in Las Vegas the lowly Sport did well and it's a pretty tough trail!

Got a Sport S w/ V6 8AT Hardtop and that's it.

I think I will be Group 2B, Ordered a Sport S, most of my mods will be minor stuff. Hoping to see the Jeep end of April.
Post it up when you get it in so you can get your club credentials, congrats BTW!

1.c for this season, then 1.e for next. I DID get A/C, can’t live without it anymore. I’ll be doing a budget lift to wheel this season and experiment with a front air locker. That will help me decide E locker or air locker for the one-tons.

I guess I'm 3a. Got a 2 door Willys Sport with MT and ac. Any mods are mostly cosmetic. No lift planned. Switched to a 7 inch screen, slightly better dash speakers, adding some type of step for my kid. Had to get my own all weather floor mats because of factory shortages. Might get some sun visor reinforcement and that's about it. Very happy with what I got

Group 2B. Started with a Sport S and mostly gone the budget route:
Rubicon Take-Off Wheels+Lift
Fab Fours Stubby Front Bumper
Bestop Highrock Rear Bumper
Oracle Oculus LEDs
Other than that just some more aesthetic stuff.

Group 3A for me. Willys Sport, manual, ac, tow, half doors & soft top. Not planning any mods, except maybe a new antenna. Came with 7” screen, power locks, windows (if I ever put the full doors back on), & mirrors. Got the Willys package for upgraded wheels, brakes, & LSD.

2021 Jeep Wrangler Freedom Edition 2 Door
I guess I’d be group 2C… or D depending on the day… 🤔🤷‍♂️

I have a 2021 two door Freedom Edition. So basically a Sport-S package that came with front LED lighting, rubi steel front bumper, rubi rock rails (that I swapped for nerf bars), 7” UConnect radio, cold weather package, convenience package, remote start, power locks and power windows, Oscar Mike badging & decals, and Oscar Mike themed leather-trimmed seats. Definitely a good value package, and Jeep makes a donation to USO when you buy it! 👍

Now what I’ve done to it…
- Tires upgraded to 285-70-17 Falken Wildpeak at3w’s
- Quadratec rear bump stop upgrade for spare tire
- FlashCal to update tire size
- Wheels upgraded to 17x9 ProComp series 33’s
- Suspension upgraded with a Rubi takeoff set (+2.5 inches)
- RC adjustable front lower control arms
- Added Steel fuel door with American flag emblem (to match the Oscar Mike decals)
- N-fab nerf bars (keep rubi rock rails in garage for off-roading days)
- Set of Rugged Ridge tube doors with mirrors to put on when weather warms up
- Interior dash and gear panels upgraded to all carbon fiber
- Sound system upgraded with all Kicker Brand speakers and a 10” sub under passenger seat.
- Besttop Bimini top to be installed when hardtop comes off soon
- EZ Flares XL installed on all four fenders
- Hood name decals (from lettering.com)
- Rugged Ridge rear bay rubber textured, fitted mat (back seat removed full time)
- Stubby antenna upgrade
- Bull bar for front bumper
- Quadratec floor mats, door sills, and dead petal.
- Steel taillight guards
- Silver grille and headlight inserts
- Jeep style license plate holder on rear
- Bag of plastic ducks in console just in case I need to duck another jeep…

Wow this stuff adds up! And I might finally hit 5,000 miles this week!

Group 3.

I wanted, yes wanted, a Sport. As I began to shop and compare, I found that the Willys offered stuff I wanted anyway, like the LS rear axle and 32" tires and rock rails to cover the pinch weld. So I bought it with no need to modify before anything broke or wore out. To date, all I have added is a fuel door. I did trim away the awful plastic aero pieces on the front bumper. That's about it in my 2 years and 15k miles of ownership. I intend to pay it off and keep it for many years. I have no fear of missing out on any new upcoming widgets or gadgets.

It has more options than I would have liked, like power windows and locks and a headliner. I went auto this time so other family members could drive it. But the price was right and it was in stock.

For a Willys it is as basic as it gets. I have LED headlight
, which I really appreciate living in a rural area. However, I have a base 5" radio and no backup sensors. It's almost like a cross between a Willys Sport and a Willys. I've never seen a Willys with the base radio and manual AC controls (which I really like). The sound quality of the radio sucks, but I can fix that easy enough.

In the future I will add a Rubicon take off suspension, 33" tires, front and rear bumpers and maybe half doors if I can find some at a fair price. No hurry though. I don't have to have it all right now.
