Damn if the trade in values haven’t fallen off the cliff lately. I have been to three dealers in different states trying to trade for an JT and each offered me exactly the same price. NADA prices me at 48k trade in value. 33k is the offer from all three dealers. 21 JLU Rubicon, Snazzberry, 40k miles, ecoDiesel, everything but safety groups and power top. Excellent condition, warranty to 75k miles
Sure is pretty, looks expensive. Promise you, any dealership that buys that for 33k is then going to turn around and try and be selling it for 58k. And they'll probably get close to that too.
I'm telling you man, dealerships are scam artists! You should go to a couple dealerships that sell other vehicles like Toyota Nissan Ford Honda, that have a used JT gladiator and see what they'll give you for a trade in. If all else fails, there's always Carvana or CarMax. I sold my 2016 Patriot to Carvana for 13,000, back when dealerships were only offering me $9,000. Worth a try.
If all else fails, hold on to your EcoDiesel. In another half a decade when people are getting tired of all this EV nonsense and how unrealistic that push is. Your EcoDiesel is going to be buku bucks!
