I searched a year back and didn't see this directly answered.
I'm buying new wheels. I currently only have 2 of 5 TPMS sensors working, and personally I think they are more of a nuisance than a benefit. I typically air down and air up my tires as much as once a week for 4-wheeling, so I know what pressure is in my tires. And if I need to know right now, I can just check with a gauge.
So, if I just install the new wheels with no TPMS sensors, what is going to happen? Warning lights like I have now from 3 non-functional sensors? Warning beepers? Alarms? Warnings that I am breaking federal law?
