There will be a lot of differences after the accident

What a crock of sh!t. Insurance is such a scam. A very nice house caught fire in my neighborhood about 3 months ago and they are just now starting repairs on it. I highly doubt it was due to lack of coverage but insurance stalling or looking for the lowest bidder before work started. It has been rained on with no roof repeatedly.now hold on tight for the rate adjustment when your policy renews. As mentioned in another post daughter had a deer strike in November that totaled her car. Just go our policy renewal and the rate more than doubled.
I'd suggest parts availability is the foremost concern. The body shop can't replace what they can't procure. How long does an insurance company have to repair my Jeep?
I was a rear end collision on Jan 26, 2023. The dealer says it needs a new frame And waiting for one to arrive.
My dealerships finance guy saw that I was getting $30,000 equity out of my trade in and didn't even try to sell me GAP. When I asked him about it, he said it would have been stupid for him to try and sell me GAP.The problem with Gap insurance is that it more than likely means you overpaid for the vehicle, or you had negative equity rolled over from your trade... If you are willing to fork out the extra cash for the premium, go for it, but dealerships will often try to sell you Gap insurance even if it isn't needed...
I traded with $13,000 positive equity and they still tried to sell me Gap Insurance... It's just a money racket for the dealers, there are some that need it, but not everyone... Just decide whether or not you need it before you sign on the dotted line, everyone's financial situation is different.
It's kind of funny, not the accident, but in the lighting it really doesn't look that bad. But I am sure there was a ton of damage you cannot see from the picture...With all the crap about absorbing impact for passengers vehicles are pretty much disposable at this point.
