Yep there’s some really good lists in that section from bare minimum to all inclusiveA basic list of hand tools to get out of the woods with a focus on need to have as opposed to nice to have.
Look here.Bare minimum list.
Here‘s a start. Lots of better answers if you’re willing to read what‘s being suggested.Hand tools. Not winches, compressors, tow and recovery equipment, etc. Just basic hand tools to tighten a bolt, etc. Already have the duct tape and bailing wire.
If you take the time to read through the threads suggested, you will find plenty of responses to your question. It’s also very subjective depending on your abilities, where you plan to be, etc.As a new Wrangler owner I am perplexed as to why it is so difficult to get an answer to my question on this forum. What basic hand tools do you carry in your rig? I am not interested in power and recovery tools, winches, oil, extra fuel, compressors, etc. So far a shovel, hatchet, saw, 18-21-22 mm wrenches/sockets, and duct tape are answers to my question. Can we get serious here?

Well I didn't just fall off a turnip truck. I was hoping to get a bit of guidance from the forum. Thank you.If you take the time to read through the threads suggested, you will find plenty of responses to your question. Being a new wrangler owner has no relevance to your question or the responses you’ve received. Why, as a new wrangler owner, do you believe that you need to carry any hand tools at all? Maybe take a day to look over your new wrangler, inside-underneath-on top- everywhere, and then sit back and think what May go wrong and you may fix it and with what.
and as I type, I see @Terrymo has provided a list!
Seriously? You obviously want to be spoon-fed, but this isn't the Gerber food factory. The information you are looking for is in the links that you have been sent. Everyone's situation is different. The tools you take with you will be based on the level of maintenance or recovery you expect to deal with based on the difficulty of the trials you expect to face. Some people need a freaking chainsaw. You probably do not. But you will probably need a 10mm socket.
