  1. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Wibornz- How long did it take to receive your TW shaft after ordering it?
  2. State Inspection with doors off?

I got my inspection done for my 2015 without doors or top- Charlotte, NC- at a Valvoline shop in October of this year.
  3. Who got you into Jeeps and why did it stick??

My Dad and a ’46 CJ2a when I was old enough to start walking. It had a 327ci in it and he would stomp on it then stop just to get me rocking back and forth in my seat which wasn’t bolted down all the way. Yeah- front seat and no kiddie seat for me lol! It ended up being my first car at 14...
  4. Clutch went out. Jeep said kick rocks. Which aftermarket clutch?

Same here, my wife as well- we both prefer manuals in our vehicles if it is an option. I had multiple issues with the clutch on my ‘20 JLUR, starting with the meaningless TSBs. I finally had it replaced through warranty, but it still never felt right. I ordered it specifically for the manual...
  5. North Carolina Roll Call

    Worth A shot lol
  6. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Nope- you were much better IMO with the retro look but it’s a jeep so freedom of expression is welcome no matter what. It looks good this way too fwiw
  7. Calling all 6 Speed Owners

Just so you know, the clutch is only warrantied for 12k miles- so if you are having issues, slipping, etc, better get them documented at the dealer. It is separate of the overall drivetrain warranty.
  8. North Carolina Roll Call

    You need a bow
  9. What kit is this?

Looks like a Bruiser conversion to me
  10. Lift Kits and the true inches added!

Aldo, why so against re-gearing? It will get you back to where you were pre 35’s/lift and the gear warranties are same or better than stock/mopa.
  11. 4.0 2004 compared to 3.6 2022

I doubt I got to 20k on any of them lol! I was in my “prime” jeep days back then as were many of my friends. We traded them like baseball cards. A lot of us did this with CJs prior to this. Definitely agree, YJs are turds but they also would weed out those that weren’t true jeep peeps...
  12. 4.0 2004 compared to 3.6 2022

Literally never had this problem, and I owned 6 jeeps with the 4.0l from ‘97 - ‘06. I don’t count the YJs lol.
  13. 4.0 2004 compared to 3.6 2022

    This ^ 100 percent!
  14. “Stretch” rear wheelbase

Yes- you can get by with a stock drive shaft while you get your arm setup tuned. If I were you, I would go to a shop and tell them what you are trying to accomplish and let them help you out. not familiar with too many shops around WA. Adjustable arms are just that, adjustable. The...
  15. “Stretch” rear wheelbase

Lol!!- didn’t see that before, you went deep man! Yeah, definitely get new arms first- you’ll find most of what you’re looking for.
  16. “Stretch” rear wheelbase

I would start with the uppers and lowers as well as a new shaft first like @word302 says. A stretch is quite a job and to get what you want is going to be more like a 6”-8” stretch. Lots of 2door guys have done it in JKs for the LJ advantage but it doesn’t make sense in a 4door model. Try the...
  17. Jeeps parking next to Jeeps... post yours!

Rescue Green, I had an ‘08 2dr manual- terrible 3.8l
  18. Would you buy a Lambent Earth colored JL?

Would have to see it in person. 2013 you could get a Rugged Brown on the JK and it looked good on certain trims. They brought it back in 2015 I think it was, it was a completely different color and not as appealing.
