My Jeep was built after 6/21 and I recently put takeoffs on from a Jeep that was built before then. The TPMS didn’t sync, which I didn’t expect it to, so I ordered these from extreme terrain

I called a couple shops to see when they could get them installed and one shop in particular said that he wouldn’t install any sensor on my Jeep that wasn’t Mopar because the light wouldn’t turn off and then he hung up on me.

Should I go ahead and return them and get Mopar sensors? Does he not know about the 6/21 change? Everything I’ve read about those seems pretty reliable

? for you.... I see you are selling the wheels/tires and TPMS that came with your JL.

Why did you not just pull the TPMS's from those wheels and use them in your set of takes offs that you presently have installed.

In your ad, you are basically giving away the TPMS's .....they alone are worth over $100.

luckily the TPMS I ordered worked perfectly but I did consider just moving my old sensors to the new set. The only reason I didn’t was I took my old spare off and put the new one on to open some trunk space… THEN went to the tire shop to get the tires installed. It wasn’t until I got there that I even thought “oh shit I should have just gotten all the sensors moved”. But at that point I would have only been able to move 4 sensors (my old spare was sitting in my apartment at that point). Then make another trip to get the spare sensor moved. And then list the old setup without tpms which would make them sell slower.

in hindsight yeah I should have moved the sensors and saved a couple bucks but the headache of wheeling tires up and down my apartment hallway to load and unload wasn’t worth it in my opinion and I just ordered new sensors.

Haha gotta break some eggs to make an omelette next time I need sensors I’ll do it right

Seems like you should post the shop phone number so we can coordinate 25 guys to call and ask about Jeep TPMS install all at the same time.
