For all around. Falken Wildpeaks A/3T or Cooper Discoverer Rugged Trek. Any experience with either?

Oooooooo sooooooo.......

When I was in 3rd grade, we were learning the alphabet, right? Well, it wasn't my turn and I really had to use the bathroom so I raised my hand and the teacher called on me. I said, "Ms B, I really have to use the bathroom, can I go now while I wait for my turn?"

Ms B replied, "no, Mike, you need to wait for lunch, it's only in 15 minutes." So, I waited.

10 minutes went by and the urge started getting stronger, I had to go and she wasn't going to stop me. So, I raised my hand again and said, "Ms B, it's an EMERGENCY, I have to go NOW!"

Ms B replied, "okay, if you can say the alphabet with no mistakes, you may go."

So, I began...." ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOQRSTUVWXYZ "

Ms B said, "wait a minute, where's the 'P'?"

I said, "running down my leg."

That being said.... I have the AT3W in 37" on my very light Jeep. No armor, no RTT, 4 banger (lighter motor), etc. They're okay. I run them about 10psi on the trail and 25psi on pavement and haven't de-beaded yet. Since they are an E load rated tire, I think that's some of my problem, light Jeep stiff tire. I also ended up going with an 8.5" wide rim which doesn't help, I wish I had gone 9" or maybe 9.5". Even at 22psi, I don't pass the "chalk test". I contacted Falken who provided EXCELLENT support, from a nerdy technical standpoint, and we determined I can run them at 25psi. Long story short, there's a calculator and at 25psi, they have the same load rating as OEM at the 37psi or whatever the door sticker says.

Would I buy them again? Maybe. I didn't know what I was doing, this was my first Jeep and I'm still learning a lot. I really wanted the Mickey Thompson Baja ATs but I got a steal on these Falken's last Black Friday at Discount Tire. I paid $2700 for 5 rims and tires, mounted, balanced and sent to my front door.

They handled pretty good in the snow as far as I can remember. What I don't like is how low tire pressure I have to run them. If I run at even 32psi, the Jeep is all over because they're so round on the bottom. They handle pretty good in wet. They don't seem as sticky off-road as the KO2's though. That might be because of the narrow rim on a really stiff tire.

They're not a terrible tire and I'd highly recommend them if you have a heavier Jeep and want a 9"+ rim. I'm no tire expert though. If you want to run 35s, I think you'll have a slightly different (better) experience than I've had. The 35s are a D load tire.

This is what drives me crazy about the Jeeping world. I have all these things I want to do and there's nowhere to see, feel, test out these products. They're not cheap either! If you make a mistake, you're going to eat the cost which can add up to thousands of dollars.

go 1 mile, turn left come to your second stop and pick up 2 kids
go 3 miles, turn right come to your third stop and drop off 5 (FIVE) kids

I have Cooper Discover AT, all season tires on our Xterra, they are a fantastic tire. 3 years now they still look close to new. Great traction, great looking, choice of white lettering, and a very good price.

Best of luck!
