Thanks

I’m running them, but I know, because of the change in scrub radius, that I will wear out the ball joints sooner.

If you do decide to run them, make sure they are high quality, hub-centric spacers. Make sure to use loctite and check the torque on the nuts every time you rotate tires. If they are lose, pull the nuts, clean them up, re-loctite, and re-torque. As long as you maintain them properly, they should be trouble free.

They will affect your scrub radius and will wear out parts quicker, but it will be no worse than installing a wheel with an equivalent offset.

I am running a set of spacers and it makes the Jeep look aggressive, but I wouldn’t run them if I didn’t need to for clearance. Eventually I’d like to get wider axles and lose the spacers.

Whether you widen the stance with offset rims or spacers, you’re adding leverage to the kingpins and outer axle bearings but helping the C/G on a raised rig has its benefits.

I’d go with a set of 1.75” HUB-CENTRIC WHEEL SPACERS so that you can remove them to narrow the stance if needed on applications that require a narrower posture. Once you buy offset wheels, that option’s out the window and not many towable vehicle trailers accommodate a wide stance.

Thta is a lot of stick's out...but if you go with another 2 inches make sure you get some very high quality spacers...LIKE made from STEEL and forged not cast?

Ever been behind a Jeep on the road that looked like your and had its spacer fail... I have and the result was NOT pretty. This was his first outing after his $7000 custom paint job. The tire tore off the entire drivers side wheel enclosure.

I pull over to help if I could and he said he should have NEVER bought those cheap, made in China spacers.

He put his wheel back on and drove him slowly...
