Hello, I've got a Wrangler JLU High Tide with Dana 44s front and rear and rubicon fenders. 4.56 gears. I've put on a Clayton overland plus 2.5" lift kit and now want bigger tires

Looking to upgrade to one of the following:

BFG KO2 37x12.50x17 Load C @ 64lbs per tire
or a
Nitto Ridge Grappler 38x12.50x17 Load C @ 82lbs per tire

Since i'm still on Dana44 axles im thinking the KO2's would be a better choice to not break anything as they're significantly lighter though also significantly smaller.
I plan on getting Method 316 Wheels at 26lbs each.

Any thoughts? I was originally sold on the KO2's but it sucks they measure 35.5" in diameter.

Hey Josh,
Nice looking rig! I don't have an answer to your question but I thought I'd throw out this thought: You may need to consider a different front bumper if you go with larger tires.

I have a setup similar to yours and my tires rub the back of my full width ARB bumper. It's much worse if I try to turn while stuffed even just a little bit. It's so bad I've been toying with the idea of cutting the back side of the bumper out with an angle grinder.

Thanks for the tip i'll keep an eye on it, currently there's a ton of room with my 35" KO2s

Per the Warn page on this bumper it says the following, hopefully i'm good with the 2.5" clayton lift which nets quite a bit more than advertised.

"Advanced bumper geometry designed specifically to increase approach angles and articulation. Will accommodate 37″ tires with only a 2″ lift (full-width version)"
