Tips for installing a Metalcloak Bumper ?

I have a metalcloak front bumper with the crawler light caps on order. It will be here by the end of the month. Mounting this with a Warn Zeon XD 10S on my 26 two willys XR. Seems like a very straight forward install. Does anyone have any tips ? I will also be installing the Baja Designs sae pick lights. Im planning on pulling the wiring out of the plastic bumper, all though I wonder if the oe steel bumper harness is any shorter ? Might order one if it will be cleaner

Jeep steel and plastic bumper wiring harness is close to same length, but the plug can be different.

Mount fogs with bumper off… run and secure the harness at that time as well

I installed mine about 2 1/2 years ago and I don’t recall there being any issues. It went on pretty easily with my super winch and the factory fog lights.

I used factory fogs/harness zero issues, a few zip ties to keep the wires out of the way and clean.

The bumper was easy as hell, although a son, wife or friend is handy to hold it in place while you bolt it up. I used my knee.

The thing that will make the install the easiest: follow the instructions. MetalCloak didnt skimp on giving you the step by step.
