Tightening the stereo knobs

Does anyone have a simple way to tighten the volume and the track/menu knobs?

It's really tough to just turn the knobs a little in certain situations.

Is there an easy way to tighten the knobs - give them more resistance so it's harder to turn them?

Have you tried the buttons on the back of the steering wheel? They work well.

I had typed up a big description of why I can't use the buttons on the back of the steering wheel in certain off-road situations - but this will be simpler:

Let's just say a passenger wants to use the stereo knobs while the Jeep is bouncing all over a forest road - and the knobs turn way too easily - trying to increase the volume a few positions will get you +15 etc...
