"Ticking" on start up

My ticking comes from the front of the 2018 Wrangler JL. It is louder when it's cold and not quite as loud after being driven for a while.

I took it in for service today, and they kept it. Said it wasn't safe to drive. Something about a loose pulley that they did not have the parts for.

My wife talked to another 2018 Jeep owner that told her he heard ours and his has the same problem. I wasn't there to get the details.

The Penastar does have a tick noise but it’s generally not super loud, some have reported pulley issues but not many

They ended up replacing one tensioner, to idler pullys and the belt.
