I use just the bracket. So far so good.

Did you not have to cut off that bracket? How do you disconnect with the bracket still there? I was going to install in my Sport S, but they say you need to cut off the bracket so that the disconnect can actually happen. Any advice? Thanks!!I use just the bracket. So far so good.
Your sway bar (with both sides disconnected) should be able to swing higher in order for the end links to reach the mount.Hey just got my JKS quicker disconnect installed... Everything looks to work great except for the retention bracket. When I disconnect the sway bars and move them up they aren't even close to the bracket so they can hold in place. Am I doing this wrong? And if it's something wrong with the install can I just use zip ties in the place that I took pictures of?
Thanks for the help.
In some of the early kits, JKS has admitted to supplying incorrect washers which did not allow enough movement to get things removed once they are installed. Double check that your mounting "bullets" are on the correct sides, and then contact JKS to see if your kit requires the new washers. For the folks (other than OP) that also have these on, could you be so kind as to post a picture of your installed quick disconnects in this other thread? I think I got a crappy install job -- can't disconnect these things because of what seems to be incorrect size washers.
I have Rubi takeoffs on my sport now with the same 0-2" JKS disconnects. Installing a RK 2.5" soon so I'll have to see if the links will work or if I'll have to get in touch with JKS to see what they can do for an upgrade.- I have rubicon springs and a .5in puck and still had it cranked almost to the 0 position, so I believe these would work with a 2.5in lift or so despite its mentioned 0-2 size... but that's just speculation.
please keep us updated, i've been considering the same amount of lift down the line.I have Rubi takeoffs on my sport now with the same 0-2" JKS disconnects. I installed the lift and the the links worked fine. I didn't even bother to adjust them longer but I guess I could. At full droop they are long ways from inverting. BUT, I do have longer shock on the way so the droop with be increased significantly so I'll have to adjust then or possibly even upgrade to the next longer set.please keep us updated, I've been considering the same amount of lift down the line.
I just double checked the diagram that's with the instructions and sure enough, 3 spacers, and they only installed 1. Grr. Taking it back in today to have them install the 2 spacers they gave back to me!I had mine installed a few weeks ago. The guy handed me 2 hard plastic spacers after the install and said they were extra in case the one he installed wore out. Thought that was kinda strange, and when I looked at the disconnect on the passenger side, after driving for a bit, it's now at an angle. Did he just not install the spacers like he should have? I looked at the instructions and there weren't really any mention of the spacers. Mine don't look like the other pics that were posted!
Thanks!
