As the title says do we know which would be a better deal? My Dad was on the JL project in Toledo so I can get an employee discount control number. I'm not sure which would be the better price.

I was completely wrong, I thought 1% for employees as well. Nice deal!Employees get 4% below invoice. Affiliates get 1%.
Tread Lightly is 1% under invoice plus a $75 fee I think, also referred to as Affiliate Pricing or FFP. Employee Pricing (EP) is roughly 5% under invoice. Would your dad be interested in adopting an adorable and well-behaved 47-year-old?As the title says do we know which would be a better deal? My Dad was on the JL project in Toledo so I can get an employee discount control number. I'm not sure which would be the better price.
Where are you located. There is a dealer in Ohio offering 3% below EP for those that qualify. I can PM you if interested.Perfect, thanks guys. Looks like 2 door Rubicon it is.

I think that’s what the dealer holds back from the sale or something to that effect. It pays for overhead costs I believe. Thanks for this I'm working on building my price. Can you explain the HB: $1503 ?
It is charged regardless. That’s a flat fee. Even the dealers/customers in Toledo pay that and the factory is right there. It makes it “fair” and is included in the prices you see. Thanks again.
Do we know if the $1195 destination fee is always going to be charged when placing an order? I'm guessing you wouldn't pay this if you bought from dealer stock? It makes me wonder since my dealer charges a $499 dealer fee that they don't budge on, would I still be on the hook for both the $1195 and $499?
When I did a spreadsheet like that I was within a couple of hundred dollars of the totals I got on the sheet from the dealer, so I’d say that’s pretty accurate. That's what I thought.
Here's a quick snapshot of what I'm looking at. Man these fees and taxes.... I suspect the fees will be half that or less as I technically have a trade (you only pay taxes on the difference) but without getting into the details I have to see what FCA is going to do about it first.

I noticed that you paid $1495 for the infotainment group and another $1295 for the alpine stereo up grade. Im thinking hard about buying a new Rubicon and when I do a build on the website and choose the upgraded infotainment package that it automatically includes the Alpine up grade with that option at no additional cost? did they change the package after you ordered and now include it as part of the infotainment up grade. I wasn't thinking of ordering that option but if it includes the Alpine stereo up grade its kinda a no brainer.Tread Lightly is 1% under invoice plus a $75 fee I think, also referred to as Affiliate Pricing or FFP.
