I had the same question. Finally it was dark enough that I noticed what was going on. Who would have thought that a Wrangler would have ambient lighting. Lol

Yeah the ambient lighting is pretty pointless really, not sure why I would need the foot well lights on while driving?

Also I think it's a bit of a design flaw having those two controls right next to one another. One kinda has to feel around for the right dial while driving if they want to adjust the gauge brightness. One small detail where the JK was superior haha

This is a little funny to me. I’m an avionics engineer by trade, so when you say “design flaw” because of two controls next to each other, all I can think of is a cockpit. Lol.

You mean there’s not a fly button and a land button? My whole life has been a lie.

I don't see the eject botton....
Not that type of plane and it probably wouldn't make sense to have a "Go Down With The Plane" button.

First, your English is terrible. Secondly, I’m certain you have miscounted.

How about saying something like: Hey OP, please check out the following link. (Insert link to previous discussion.) You might find more information there since this was discussed previously.

Why does it matter if it’s been discussed before? It’s an online forum, not an owners manual.

Prepare yourselves for the the definition of irony:

I have a pilot's license

As an occasional flyer of small planes and flight simmer, it is pretty weird that those two dials bother me so much!

Haha. I've been around aircraft since high school. I can understand it. I think it's because they're hidden behind the steering wheel.

There's an aspect of Pilot Training where you're taught to check, verify, set or check, set, roger.

Doing this while looking out the windscreen is the reason why all the handles and most important switches have a different shape and feel than the switches and controls next to them.

Since the ones in the Jeep are shaped the same, I can understand the abhor towards them, but once you use them a couple times, you'll remember. Unless it's like the center console in the JK. HAHA. I had mine for 3 years and still screwed up which handle to pull to open it to the larger space.
