Third Brake Light extension cable with OEM connectors?

Well… I got impatient. Decided to cannibalize the OEM harness, lopped off the connectors, spliced in extra wire to suit length. I’m figuring I will not ever go back or need the OEM harness, and worse case… go buy another if I really need it. Worked out great… now just need to tidy up the wiring. Will do the camera relocation tomorrow. Found an extension wire for it, luckily.

I fabricated something similar to this, then found this later online. It sits behind the wheel and the brake light is visible through it.

Mine works well, it's a bridge across the top of the spare tire rack, that the light is screwed into.
