Anyone here who didn't get the Alpine System and regret it? I'm debating on whether its worth it or not. I'm not huge on blasting the music but for those warm summer days without the top, will the standard sound system be enough?
I got it and it's great

One thing of note here- not all Wranglers were bought to crawl rocks. I like to hit trails, but I also like to take the doors and tops off. That’s actually my real pleasure. So for me, the Sahara was more in line for my style. If we ever grow mountians in Dallas, I might switch models. But until then- I’m happy.

I'm with you. Love to camp, like trails, use the jeep to get to and from work, love it in the snow and would like to take it to the beach. Sahara is more than enough for that. What am I'm not going to do? Forge a running river or climb rocks.

Love the Jeep. Makes me smile everyday.

Bumper mounted lights

Has anyone mounted LED/lights on the non-metal Sport/Sport bumper? With or without a bar guard? It looks like Mopar has some but I haven't seen anyone here with them.

I agree. You know what is not appealing to me at all? Spending my day driving over huge rocks at 5 mph with a spotter. Driving on mountain trails or on the beach i am all in.

I could have gotten a Rubicon but I like them a little simpler. Sport suits me better and the Sport S is a very nice vehicle.

It took me awhile to fight the tide of opinion on this forum to realize this about myself. I do prefer the Rubicon look, especially the hood, but I may change that down the line.

I love my BASE Sport. It crawls over rocks well, mud, water, sand - whatever you like, just get out and enjoy with family and friends as often as you can . . . for me, it is a memory making machine.

Same here. Deliberately got a soft top. Live in So-Cal & cruise to the beach every weekend, top down. It is the best!

New Jeep owner here. No mods yet except the upgraded rubicon rims and tires. I exhausted all of my "allowance" on this vehicle, so not sure when I'll be able to modify :(

I need floor mats badly, and shame on me, but I want mud flaps too.... These tires throw up stones like crazy!

Oh, and like everyone else here, I need a soft top, but not that crazy expensive one (OK, well I'd love to have that too) but just a $500 soft top that takes a few minutes to take on and off. You can't count on the weather in Ohio, that's for sure.

So is everyone that is upgrading to Rubicon wheels and tires getting them from other forum members? That's my plan, but I haven't seen many for sale in my area, although I haven't looked too hard since I'm not ordering until next month.
Look on craigslist and facebook marketplace too, JK wheel work just fine and you should be able to find a nearly new set of wheels with tires for 800-1400. The JK rubi tires are 255 though, not 285.
