The dreaded JB freeze

wishing I could get to JB been D1 for 25 days... jeep chat says they need to look into it and will get back to me? not going to hold my breath

Probably all those darn vehicles taking up JB space

I'm happy to get mine out of the way if Jeep would.

Just found out from my dealer that the new ramp load date is now 3-31...was 3-25. This is not encouraging.

One thing I don’t like what they did was they fold the rear seats down for the soft top and the seatbelt buckles dug into the leather on both sides making a huge Indentation in the leather and don’t look like it’s coming out other than that the truck is beautiful!

Mine still shows Gate out and 3/29 but it’s probably going to be updated to 4/?. This thread brings out the pessimist in me.

Been watching this thread for a few days now. I've been through a lot of the same experiences and can empathize. I received a call from my dealer today that my Black Rubi, Dual top, manual, etc. is KZ and will hopefully arrive this Friday. I just hope I don't experience any of the KZ delay issues I've read about. Ordered 1/20, went JB 6 days ago, had a D to D1 regress which is a total wait of about 8 weeks if all goes well. Best of luck to you all....hopefully this is both my first and last post to this thread.

Well, my KZS status has already been pushed back a week. I’m still without my Rubicon. I hope I can look back at this experience with some levity. But, it really is quite pathetic that in this day and age of technology Jeep is unable to accurately track and convey a true order status. Even my dealer is clueless what is up.

The one thing I did not know is if the door is even the slightest bit not closed the jeep does not move I felt like an idiot yesterday when I was stuck in the middle of the street for 10 minutes. I almost got out and pushed my brand new Rubicon until I saw the little tiny picture of a door ajar

LMFAO reminds me of when I was on my VROD and trying to start it with the switch in the off position. Now I am not a newbie, been riding a long time and that bike had over 20K miles on it at the time. I was taking things apart trying to figure it out until I realized the stop / run switch was in the off position.....

We have all been there done that at one point. :cwl:

Just figured I'd check in here and let everyone know I sailed through JB.

Dealer sent in the order on 2/15
D1 on 2/24
Built 3/15/18 (JB same day)
KZ 3/19/18

My guess for the short delay I did have is that it was a weekend, and the "body vendor" probably isn't a 24 hour operation like the factory is.

My order was:

JLUR
Manual
White
Black leather
Hardtop headliner
Steel bumper
Infotainment group
Trailer tow
Cold weather
LED lighting
Remote proximity entry
Black hard top
Active safety group (added after leaving the dealer, but before the order was sent in. Don't know where it falls in the options order)

Now I guess we'll see how long it takes the car to go 110 miles from Toledo to my dealer.

I find it interesting how weird the tracking system is. I'm over on MOTS, and yesterday I saw that I was re-scanned at the VDC, but today when I woke up, KZ was added prior to that scan. I bet I won't even know the car was shipped until after it arrives. Seems all of the important changes don't actually get updated into MOTS until the following day. Guess I'll start cleaning out my JK so I'm ready when the dealer calls.

I am now officially stuck in JB...been here almost 2 weeks (which I know is not as long as others) but man, come on already! I was told yesterday by Jeep Chat I had an ETA of 4/5, now today they say there is no ETA and it is still pending installation of additional equipment.

F "JB"....only been here a week or so, but the time goes soooo slowly...I can only assume its the dual top...why can't they just send the top separately...You get so excited to check the spreadsheet and no movement...
