I tried getting a T3 but never had any luck. So I ended up going with the T4 and the T4 cannot fit sideways like that.

Every tent from cheap Coleman or Ozark trail tents to our current rei 3 person tent that we've owned in the last 20 years has gone back in the bag without issue? Maybe some practice folding up your tent is needed?

I have a Gazelle T4 Plus and that damn thing is HUGE, and I couldn't believe how easy it was to get back into the carry case. I just hope it holds up over time—
I'm with you. I have the Gazelle T4 Overland pop-up tent. It's huge and easy to set up and take down. It fits in its bag easily.

I have the Gazelle T4 Overland edition. It has been a great tent so far, but I’ve always carried it inside the Jeep. This year I’m carrying it on a roof rack, so we will see how that turns out. :fingerscrossed:
I strap mine on the roof rack. It's not too tough to throw it up there. I have four cargo rings secured to the rack and use a couple of cheap and shortened ratchet straps to keep it intact.

I have a two person Marmot three season and a three person North Face four season. My experience is it takes experience. I've had the Marmot much longer and it was tough at first and now it's super easy / room to spare. My North Face is new and I've yet to learn the 'tricks' to make it easy
