There's an instruction manual on the TAZER website. There are a lot of functions.

The manual is quite silly with all the different fonts and colors . I printed in bw and it about 16 pages. Will be installing it first in TRX, then another in the 392. Mostly for tpms and pin.

I know this is going to set me up for ridicule, but I find the Tazer document incredibly hard to follow.

The Taser isn't hard to use, but it is far from intuitive IMHO. I currently have everything set just right, but I'm loath to update the firmware and play with the new features.

So what is available to do on the 392? I heard making it true 2WD/ RWD is an option is one of the features #burnouts

There is a reason why the TAZER user guide have different fonts, colors and bold text - It is because people do not read the freakin important parts in the user guide and stuff up their settings for good.

Total agree! It defiantly could have been presented in a way that was easier to follow and understand.

That manual so could use a re-write, something maybe without 2 columns.

You do realize that Z-Automotive is essentially a small 2 or 3 man operation, right? How about re-writing the manual for them?

So I have a problem. I am about 5 versions old, but really wanted to add the pin lock. First 5 or so times, using th software, it could not find the tazer... been there and done that. But last night, multiple tries, I could never get past this message:

Any ideas? Anyone?

I have the newest version of the software. Other pages seem to work (Reading Canbus and programming light shows), but this page never gets past here.

Maybe I need to actually pull it from the Jeep and try a different computer?

Download the firmware separately and do a manual update.
