Great topic, one thing I dont understand is how do you "put" your Jeep into sleep cycle. Do you mean after reboot get out and walk away til the screen goes blank?

Pro tip: you don't have to get out or walk away, just turn the ignition off and open and shut the door.

Z Automotive recommends waiting about 60 seconds after the screen goes blank.

I've always found it better to fully walk away from the vehicle.

I tried the Z-Auto way a couple of times, and it didn't work and caused issues.

It's been my experience that the guys at ZAutomotive take it as a personal affront when one of their products don't work right. I've had some issues over the years and I was getting so many emails from them as they worked out the problem that it may have been excessive. They're busier now but they're still really responsive to questions.

Thanks!!! I have already replace a few Batteries, so I was being ridiculouly safe and walking away for about 5 minutes.LOL
